Emma Riebel-Paszkiewicz joined ResDAC in January 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University and a Master of Public Health in Public Health Administration and Policy from the University of Minnesota. She has a professional background providing community-based mental health services in the Twin Cities metro area.
The RIF request process requires identification of people with specific roles for the project. Proper understanding of job roles will save time and prevent the need for later revisions.

ResDAC is sad to recognize the death of Dr. A. Marshall McBean. Marshall was the founding PI of ResDAC in 1995 and remained as such for 18 years. He was an initial instructor of CMS 101–a course that is still our most popular.
After receiving your Phase 2 compliance notification, you may submit a request through ResDAC to obtain Medicare data. Please include "QE Request" in the subject line of the email.
Establish a new Data Use Agreement (DUA)
To request data for the first time, you must submit the following documents to establish a DUA with CMS.
CMS is pleased to announce the availability of Preliminary Medicaid T-MSIS Analytic Files (TAFs) for calendar year 2020. The TAF research files* contain data on Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) beneficiary demographics, program enrollment, service use, and payments. They are designed to meet the diverse research needs of the Medicaid and CHIP data user community.
